Wassily Kandinsky, born 1866, was a prolific

Russian artistic innovator, painting

throughout Europe in the early-to-mid twentieth

century. He founded The Phalanx group, and

later became an integral part of the Bauhaus aesthetic

in the 1920’s.

 

His art harmonizes the sounds of life, making music

out of the mundane.
